Benelli TNT 1130CR
And here we have the Benelli TNT 1130CR. We can agree that this beauty from Italy has more of a streetfighter look, but Benelli has given the CR tag in the nomenclature itself, so we do have a cafe racer here. Okay, the design idea used for the development of the Cafè Racer was that of creating a bike inspired by yesteryear’s racing bikes, but with unique, sophisticated details to make it modern and effective. Even the colour was also evoked form the past. And that is what the 1130CR is. A bike with the power and performance of a sportbike and the comfort of a standard bike. And come to look at it, it is actually a proper Café Racer. It has a nice windscreen, albeit small, clip on handlebars, a single seat, foot board adjustment, so it has everything you find in a Café Racer.Yes, Benelli bikes are expensive, in fact any Italian bikes, but the thing is you won’t find anything regular run on the mill items here, it is Italian and being a Benelli, it is even more rare.
Benelli has basically 2 engines, an 899cc and the bigger bored out 1130cc engines beside the offroader engine. All the bikes are woven around these models to cater to different categories. In the U.S, there is only the 1130cc engine.
Like all Benelli machines, this CR bike will give you the option of modifying the engine with a single button. Like many sports bike featuring this option, you can opt for power or traction control which of course will also offer you better fuel consumption, well though not by much as the TNT 1130 Café Racer seems to be quite a guzzler. But then if you have the money to buy a Benelli, you would probably never ever think about economy. Just for the record, it will give you a ride of around 120km from the 16.5 liters tank. The free power configuration makes it possible to fully enjoy the power of the bike at 135 hp while the traction control will let you enjoy the bike in city urban driving through the twists and corners with a reduced power output at 112 hp.
The engine is a super refined 3 cylinder in line 4 stroke machine which is fitted with anti-vibration countershaft with a total displacement of 1130cc. It is oil cooled The TNT Cafe Racer 1130 isn't your average Cafe Racer. That is so damn true. There is no classic styling cues of the 70s to start with and if it was not for the CR moniker in the bike, you would most probably categorize it as a Streetfighter. But then even Benelli is saying it’s a crossover of café Racer to a Streetfighter. Moreover the colour is probably a little too bright for a Café Racer, but genetically, it does have café racer properties. See, even the mirrors are by the end of the bars, isn’t that a café racer? Well, just having some components like those certainly doesn’t make it one, but riding one will most definitely make you *feel* that you are on a Cafe Racer. On the other hand, what you have here is an exotic machine of fine art. It is, let’s say a muscular cafe racer with smooth curves. This machine is as modern as modern can get. It’s quite fast for a triple and it will happily take you to a top whack of 230kph, and don’t worry for its ride. Reviewers have said that the ride is excellent and it is a very sweet handler and also those big discs brakes will make it absolutely safe for you.

Voxan motorcycle
My favorite Voxan motorcycle is ironically one That never made it into full production: the Super Naked XV café racer. It was to have a 140 bhp, 1200 cc version of the proprietary Voxan motorcycles, and was full of lovely design Touches Poor 'a slim rectangle of a brake light inset into the rear seat, an offset of the filler cap and a very avant-garde instrument display. Fittingly, this motorcycle was to be sold direct to buyers via the Internet.

Motorcycles Magpul Ronin
What you're looking at is the Magpul Ronin. If that name doesn't sound familiar, that's because they've never had anything to do with motorcycles before. Magpul makes aftermarket rifle grips, stocks, magazines, etc. We can only imagine that they had idle time and CNC machine time, and did this amazing Buell in their spare time.
I like the front fork fairings, though I'd like to see how they perform at speed. I'm not as sure how practical the naked radiator front and center would be, though it does add to the overall look of mechanical brutality. What I think is absolutely brilliant is the use of the negative space between the seat and frame. I would throw my grandmother down a flight of stairs to have someone fabricate that seat, tail assembly and airbox cover.
Motorcycle Vyrus 987 C3 4V
According to MCN, three versions of the Vyrus 987 C3 4V will be available, with the 170bhp, 163 kilo base model being launched towards the end of this year. A higher-spec 987 C3 4V R will pack 184bhp and weigh as little as 158 kilos, while the top-end version will get a supercharger, boosting power output to 211bhp. This bike, which will weigh about 154 kilos, will be the fastest, most powerful production bike in the world. That’s right, the supercharged Vyrus 987 will be lighter and more powerful than a Kawasaki ZZR1400, Yamaha VMax, Ducati Desmosedici RR, Ducati 1198S and the MV Agusta F4 1078RR.
211bhp for the street? Yes indeed. ‘Everybody will be able to ride it without killing themselves. The main drama is the light weight, not so much the power,’ says Rodorigo, speaking to MCN. ‘It turns easily into corners and the stability grows the closer you get to the limit. It’s incredibly confidence building,’ he adds.
The new Vyrus will be equipped with state-of-the-art electronics, including a race-spec traction control system, to allow riders to handle all that power. The bike’s innovative chassis, with hub-centre steering and front swingarm instead of the usual fork, is inherently very stable and will be refined and optimised further for the new 987.
You would probably expect the Vyrus 987 to be very expensive and you would be right, of course. According to MCN, the base model will be priced at £44,000 (US$69,500), the R version will cost £50,000 (US$79,000) and the supercharged version will carry a price tag of £71,000 (US$112,000). Whew!
You are looking at the latest very exclusive motorcycle released by small manufacturer vyrus from Rimini, Italy. Named the 987 C3 4V this very light weight bike (only 339 pounds) is able to produce 211 hp from its Ducati-sourced 1198cc V-twin engine, boosted by the presence of a supercharger and proudly carries the title of the Most Powerful Production Motorcycle in the World. And since you probably never heard about Vyrus, a little bit of background to explain this bike.Vyrus is a company which used to work alongside Bimota for the development of the revolutionary “Tesi” motorcycle using a hub-center steering front suspension arrangement. Vyrus split from Bimota and completed the first evolution of the Tesi’s development, marketing the bike under their own name. Headed by Ascanio Rodorigo (who worked closely with famous bike designer Massimo Tamburini) all company engineers are experienced in high-class motorcycles, almost all of them having worked for Bimota or Ducati. Among many other details, ay attention at how the front of the bike is held together… The base version starts at $70,000 with the supercharged edition above $100,000. I told you.

Fastest Production Motorcycles In The World by size
The philosophy behind the Superbike category, which was created half-way through the 1970s, was to race bikes that were very powerful but were in any case similar to production models on sale to the general public.
The possibility for the general public to identify themselves with the bikes in this championship that were so close to production models has been the basis for the success of the Superbike category.
These are some of the most powerful and fastest Superbikes available in the market ranked by its maximum speed:
The Suzuki GSX1300R, also known as the Hayabusa, is a hypersport motorcycle introduced by Suzuki in 1999. It has a 1299 cc inline-4 engine rated 175 bhp (129 kW), and was consistently tested as the fastest production motorcycle in the world. The name Hayabusa is the Japanese term for the Peregrine Falcon, known for its speed, and perhaps a joke at the expense of the Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird which was the fastest production motorcycle prior to the Hayabusa: the Peregrine Falcon is a predator of the common blackbird.
Honda CBR 1100 XX Super Blackbird is a sport-touring motorcycle built by Honda. It combines big engine power, Easy operational error-tolerance with touring comfort. The Blackbird production started in 1997 and the last year of production was 2006. The Blackbird was the result of Honda's attempt to build the world's fastest production motorcycle, stealing the crown from Kawasaki.
MTT Turbine Superbike, also known as Y2K Turbine Superbike, is the world's second wheel driven motorcycle powered by a turbine engine, created by Ted McIntyre of Marine Turbine Technologies Inc. Powered by a Rolls Royce Allison 250 series turboshaft engine, producing 238kW (320hp), this motorcycle has a recorded top speed of 227 mph (365 km/h), with a price tag of US$150,000. It is recognized by Guinness World Records as the "Most powerful production motorcycle" and the "Most expensive production motorcycle".Unlike other contemporary motorcycles(such as the Hayabusa), 2001 and later models of MTT Turbine SUPERBIKE do not have the 300 km/h speed limit self-imposed by Japanese manufacturers.
The Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle, introduced in 1998, was the first significant motorcycle in the true litre class (1,000 cc) "handling arms race" between the Japanese Big Four motorcycle manufacturers (Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha). When introduced, it took the class closer to a true racing motorcycle, and increased the handling capabilities.

Chack's 2012 Izh-1 Hybrid Motorcycle
Igor Chack may only be 26 years old, but this design student’s eyes have a taste for something old with a modern twist. Taking his inspiration from the 1929 Soviet Izh–1, Chack sees this iconic motorcycle coming to life nearly 80 years later with a hybrid powertrain and a bevy of features not only unthinkable in 1929, but not seen on today’s motorcycles as well.
Chack’s design centers around a 850cc hybrid motor that makes 140hp when running off of fossil fuel. 50% of the motor is made from heat resistant reinforced plastic, which helps reduce weight and enclose the integrated electric circuits. On the electric side of the powertrain there is a 60kW brush-less motor that’s built into the rear rim, along with its own two-speed gearbox. Chack estimates the combo could achieve 80mpg with the bike’s on-board fuel management system deciding which drive to use.
Bringing forth some new safety and technical features, Chack sees the Izh-1 using magnetic brakes with conventional back-ups. Also there is an air bag system located on the front of the bike to lessen frontal impacts to the rider. What is sure to be a motorcycling first, the Izh-1 concept imagines an augmented reality display: an HD system that combines night vision, GPS, and other information to the rider on a display system. With all these electronics on-board, things like traction control, ABS, and smart phone linkage are also included.
We think there’s lot’s to love and hate about this design. Many of Chack’s design elements look great, we especially love the front-end of the motorcycle. But elemetns like the Honda CB1000R exhaust, and awkwardly place rear shock sort detract from the other highlights (granted the shock placement is a part of the original Izh-1 design). Chack definitely has some innovative ideas from a technical perspective that we would like to see modern bikes contrain. Renders and video below.
Motorcycles enter design fray
Pitt has collaborated with the cracking design team at Xenophya for the past 9 months to create a small range of lightweight, air-cooled singles. All models use a tubular backbone frame and are powered by the 500cc Buell “Blast” motor, a pity as there are better options from Japan, Austria and Germany available.
“Between us we’d designed, modified, built and ridden all sorts of motorcycles over the last 30 years and thought it was time to produce a motorcycle that reflected our philosophy,” says Pitt.
“Our influences have been diverse and we’ve made unusual connections between genres of motorcycles such as choppers, Italian singles from the 1950s, flat-trackers and competition specials. What underpins Mac Motorcycles’ philosophy though is the belief that the riding experience and the stories that go with motorcycle journeys seem to have been hijacked by technology and plastic.”
The company has created four different models: “Spud” for dossing about on, “Ruby”, the motorcycle equivalent of the girl-next-door, “Peashooter” for squirting to your favourite pub and gassing with your mates and the “‘Roarer”, a modern-day dinosaur-chaser.
Best bikes for women
Is it just me or are companies like ROAR and Ridley (who market their automatic motorcycles mainly to women) not giving women any credit to be able to handle a regular motorcycle and almost taking advantage of Van Buren sister them? It seems they are dumbing down motorcycles just to make a buck. Do you think that the had modified “girlie” bikes?
Why are some women buying into the hype?!?! It makes me so angry to see droves of women gathering around the Ridley tent at rallies, sitting on those glorified scooters and to hear that ROAR has reservations piling up for this motorcycle that isn’t even produced.
Best bikes for women, is there such a thing as a perfect bike for women motorcycle riders?
